National Peer Network
One of the most consistent findings in conversations with imams across North America is a sense of professional isolation. An imam may be surrounded by a community, but within their role — carrying the specific burdens of religious leadership — they can feel profoundly alone.
NAIF’s peer network exists to end that isolation. It is the simplest and most powerful thing NAIF offers: peers who understand, from the inside, what this work requires.
How The Network Works
Regional Chapters
Regional Chapters — NAIF is organised into 7 active regional chapters across the United States and Canada: Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, South/Texas, Pacific Northwest, Pacific West, and Canada. Each chapter hosts regular gatherings where imams in the same geographic area can meet, share, and support one another in person.
Annual Convention
The NAIF Annual Convention is the national gathering of NAIF. Three days where the full breadth and depth of the North American imam community comes together. Many NAIF members cite the convention as the most meaningful professional experience of their year.
Digital Community
An exclusive digital space where NAIF members can share resources, raise questions, seek guidance from peers, and stay connected between in-person gatherings.
